MICHELLE M. CAREY is Vice President for Policy on Charter Communication’s Government Affairs team. Previously, she served in a number of senior positions at the Federal Communications Commission including Chief, of the Media Bureau, Senior Legal Advisor to Chairman Kevin J. Martin, and Deputy Chief of the Wireline Competition Bureau. Ms. Carey also was a Senior Advisor to the Assistant Secretary at the National Telecommunications and Information Administration in the Department of Commerce. Prior to her government service, she clerked for the Honorable Hart T. Mankin of the U.S. Court of Veterans Appeals. Ms. Carey is a Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude graduate of Georgetown University and received her J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center.
